Mike K7PFJ is a friend of Mike K6AER, Mike K7PFJ was instrumental in the purchase of the new repeaters. Mike AER contacted him for the repeaters and had moved to Colorado after the purchase of the last two were purchased and checked them out for AER. Mike PFJ ask me if he could be a member of the CRRG Tech. Committee. I was very glad for that to happen as he has the snowmobile and is glad to go up on Squaw Mountain as need and he is available. So please welcome Mike K7PFJ to the Tech. Committee.
The two Mike’s went to Squaw Mountain recently with the new batteries. Clear Creek County Sheriff's Had to go up squaw mtn. To repair there equipment and offered us a ride so we could get the batteries up on the mtn. I would like to thank Roger K0YY for all his help in getting this trip accomplished. He made the arrangements with Crear Creek County Sheriffs for the ride.
The new repeater is at Mike’s AER and being set up. We are hoping to get it in operation this spring. There are some things that need to be repaired before that can be accomplished.
I would like to see a letter of thanks be sent to Clear Creek County Sheriff's for the help. Also one to Roger K0YY.
Both repeaters seem to be operating in good shape as of now.
